This is a Minix 2.0.4 virtual machine for VMWare Player.

This virtual machine is configured with a 512 MB virtual disk and 32 MB
RAM, and initially needs about 64 MB free disk space, but this will grow
as more of the virtual disk space is used. 

It was tested on VMWare Player 1.0.1 build 19317 running on Windows XP.
VMWare Player can be obtained from http://www.vmware.com/products/player/.

It is hoped that this virtual machine running on the free VMWare Player 
will be as convenient and useful as the old DOSMinix method of installing 
Minix on a FAT file system, which unfortunately is not easily used on 
newer Windows systems which provide only an NTFS file system.

Usage: Unzip the archive to create a minix204_32MB_512MB directory. On 
a Windows host the \My Documents\My Virtual Machines\ is a good place to 
do this.

A README.txt file will be present, and additional text files will be
found in the \docs\ subdirectory. See these for more information.
