py152_note.txt               Info about python 1.5.2 and zlib 1.2.3 files

Here are the recompiled zlib/python archives. I've also added an archive
for the zlib-1.2.3 sources that I used, since I removed a large number
of files (support for other platforms, and examples) from the original
distribution, and changed the configure script to support Minix directly.

The files I have are:

    * py152-bin.taz </downloads/py152-bin.taz> - recompiled, and linked
      against the zlib-1.2.3 library.
    * py152-bin.txt </downloads/py152-bin.txt> - updated the notes.
    * py152-src.txt </downloads/py152-src.txt> - updated the notes
      (changing references of zlib 1.2.1 to 1.2.3). Note that I've not
      repackaged py152-src.taz to contain this updated file.
    * zlib123bin.taz </downloads/zlib123bin.taz> - new version.
    * zlib123bin.txt </downloads/zlib123bin.txt> - updated for the new
      version.
    * zlib123src.taz </downloads/zlib123src.taz> - new package.
    * zlib123src.txt </downloads/zlib123src.txt> - description for the
      new package. 

All are on minix1.hampshire.edu and minix1.bio.umass.edu as of 2005-08-01

The py152-bin.taz, py152-bin.txt, and py152-src.txt replace earlier 
versions with the same names posted in January 2005 and June 2005
